"Great place for family fun. Baseball fields, Archery range, river for fishing. Rent out the cabin or shelters for a nice family BBQ. And enjoy the pool with slide during the summer months. And be sure to ask the Parks department for info about the Civil Air Patrol unit (Lake County Cadet Squadron) that meets there weekly. Excellent program for teens (12-18). Where they can volunteer their time as well as learn leadership, character development, , discipline, etc. Excellent program. The Park is always doing events as well throughout the year. Awesome place for family fun."

"Could be such a beautiful park, but it falls short. Trash cans are full and overflowing. Need additional tables and seating in shady areas. Love the ducks and the river that runs through it. This park just needs some upgrades , the basketball courts could be redone and cleaned the riverfront could use some upgrades too. It would be nice if there was some lighting or areas for firepits."
