"The quality of service has gone done severely in the last few year in Greenwood and the east side location. The staff acts like you're bothering them. They know they can act that way since the other stores don't have the inventory and what the do have is expensive. Sad even the manager is that way as well."
"The employees are always kind and helpful. The selection of fabric is always great. Now, that being said, management always seems miserable. Today, I think her name was Shannon was rude. She could not have been more aggravated because the employee needed help at the counter. I don't want to give specific names of the employee because I'm fully assuming Shannon would be the type to retaliate against the employee. It was awkward and hateful. If you can't handle being kind to employees, don't be a manager."
"Cashier 854481 was “trying” to re-stack the scrapbook paper she scanned and she was just carelessly slamming the paper on the register area without even looking down at what she was doing as she conversed with coworkers… come on… $65 of scrapbook paper and that’s how it’s treated? I was cringing as she did it, because you could obviously see the ends bending and getting crushed as she kept doing it, and then she shoved it carelessly into a bag. When I got home I saw that she did in fact damage multiple sheets…. Listen, I get it… working retail sucks. I’ve been there. I don’t even care she was talking to coworkers. But people are paying good money for these products and the tiny amount of care she could’ve used to not damage the paper would’ve taken hardly any extra effort….. do better :/"
"I love this Joann. It's conveniently located on the south side and they have such a large collection of fleece fabrics. I use their app to scan each item, because sometimes it's cheaper on the app than it is in-store, and they price match to their website. They have a cutting counter that is staffed constantly where you can pull a number and then they call it when you're next. That's really handy."
