"When my POS friend got evicted from her house they left all their cats there. 2 males 2 females. I’ll be forever grateful they took the 2 females one was pregnant and I found homes for the 2 males. Now my ex and I wanted to look at a dog I had a 2 year old at the time… the director told me I couldn’t even introduce the two because the dog was “too hyper” he’s in a cage 18 hours the day how do you want him to act? If I want to introduce the two that really should be my choice I feel like. She had no room to tell me what dog would be better for me and my daughter and ex. He was literally the sweeetest dog she put her fingers in the cage and he literally fell in love… also she didn’t tell me any history about the dog being aggressive towards kids or anything he was too hyper for her liking apparently. So yeah next time I’ll keep my guard up with this place"

"We love donating to the Hobart Humane society. We recently added our little "mashed potato" Max into our family. Thank you for everything you do to help all the little ones who need homes. Highly recommend."

"They really help all animals and really care. Right now they are in desperate help. They just got a lot of kittens in. There is also some older animals there that also deserve a good loving home. They are also in need of food and litter donations. The Hobart Humane Society helps these loving animals find wonderful loving homes. I had a senior cat Sophie (in photo), that had early kidney disease. It was treated with special kidney food and sub-q fluids. Sophie I had for 11 great years. We got her at the Hobart Humane Society. My heart went out to her from the beginning. When she was at the back of the cage. The humane society said she was about 3 and had been there for awhile. She gave me great joy and still does. She lived till she was about 13-14 years. Please can we all come together as a community and help this wonderful organization. If you can't adopt, if you can please share. They are also in need of cat food, litter, and if anyone loves animals, they are always looking for volunteers."

"We adopted the most sweetest kitten from here. Her name was originally 4 and she was a trash can kitten, very tiny. My partner and I decided to rename her, Chai. She’s been a great addition to our family and receives plenty of love/kisses/cuddles. The whole adoption process was painless and went well. She’s already best buddies with my other rescue kitty, Jorah. Her foster mommy did a good job with her, thank you!"
