"Very unpleasant experience the front desk and doctors were not helpful or concerned at all. This is after trying to set an appointment for several weeks leaving messages and getting no response… horrible"

"I went to the doctor's office for a scheduled 3:45 pm appointment. I did not receive a vitals check until 5:30 pm. During that time, I was skipped over by two other patients who had later appointments than me. This wasn't discovered until someone at the front desk said something to the nurse. For this place to have three people at the front desk, it is poorly run and disorganized. I did not see the doctor until 6:00pm. I saw Steven Smith. During that time, the doctor was very attentive and listened to my concerns, which I appreciate. He wrote me a script for a doppler procedure at Advocate Trinity. He told me that I could go the next day and get it done. I go the next day, a Friday, to Advocate Trinity. The people at Advocate Trinity told me that no one from this office sent over the referral, I had a to schedule an appointment (not walk in like I was told). I call the scheduler number and she told me that the referral did not specify the doppler procedure I was getting so she could not schedule me. Mind you, the reason for me getting the procedure is for significant leg pain I have been having in my right. I do not have a car, so I took two buses to get to the hospital. I did this all while in pain only to be turned away. It is unacceptable. I then call the doctor's office, but they are closed on Fridays. I leave a voicemail with the on call mailbox, but never heard back. I had to call the office on Monday to try and get a new referral. Getting apppropriate healthcare should not be this hard, even when you have insurance. I blame the American health insurance system for some of the shortcomings causing my predicament, but there is also a large amount of blame that can be placed on this doctor's office."

"I felt cared for and listened to from the first phone call. Best medical experience for me in 30 years, These medical professionals really care about their patients. I feel that I have finally found a place I can trust and depend on. Thank you Dr. Smith for making me feel cared for."

"I went to see Dr. Elaine Cabugason for a vaccination, TB skin test and bloodwork for a form that would be submitted to my university, so my financial aid could be released for grad school. I never had any follow-up after my 2nd visit (which is when my blood was taken) by a nurse, and since then I have called on more than one phone line, left voicemails and emailed the receptionist. I’m now stuck starting the process over and making an appointment with a new doctor. That’s inconvenient, but I’m appalled by the lack of follow-up even after I have reached out multiple times for weeks. It’s unethical. I’ve never had bloodwork done just to never receive the results or any type of communication afterwards. I will be filing complaint about Dr. Cabugason and the practice with IDPH."

"Dr Smith is a awesome doctor. I’ve been with this doctor sense I was seeing him at med south, at that time I was only 18 years old and now I’m over 50 years old He’s alway concerned about my health., he takes his time and listen to your concerns. You are never rushed in the examination room. He takes his time to make sure everything is addresses. His son Dr Steven Smith is following in his father’s footsteps. He’s also listens to your concerns and checks you out thoroughly never rushing. When his father isn’t in I don’t feel worried about seeing Dr Steven because I know my health is in good hand. I recommend these two doctors if you won’t caring concerned ,passionate., and Highly qualified doctors."
