This was the easiest Mortgage application and process I have dealt with."

"UPDATE (20.10.07): There was some confusion on my insurance policy should be set up. Duffy felt it should be a full homeowner's policy (even though it is a condo) while my State Farm agent felt it should be a condo policy. Neither could give me a straight answer, but we decided to go the safe route and have the homeowner's policy. Later on, my State Farm agent decided that it was foolish to have a homeowner's and switched to a condo policy, mailing that information to Duffy. However, Duffy never forwarded this information to PennyMac, who bought the loan, hence it was never updated. Duffy did not contact State Farm either to inform them that the loan had been sold, so I have to deal with this again, many months later. I would NEVER recommend working with Duffy to anyone. Even after all the missing payments had been resolved, I am still dealing with this insurance issue. Ryan Budreau had record of sending out the documentation to Celebrity Home Loans, but for some reason the latter decided not to forward it. Duffy had helped me with my previous loan when he was working with LHFS and reached out to me to refinance under his new company. It sounded great at first, but it has been a headache ever since. By the end of April, we had set up the pay off for the loan, but he failed to tell me cancel the autopayment for the month of May. So the loan was paid in full for the full amount plus the extra for May. I've tried to get a hold of Duffy a few times, but he keeps punting me back to LHFS. LHFS keeps telling me to call back later and later. Almost 2 months after the loan payoff, I finally have an answer. My issue is resolved, but Duffy was no longer helpful once my loan was sold to Penny Mac. Now, I just have to wait up to 30 days to have my check re-issued because the first one was lost in the mail. I understand that COVID-19 may have impeded resolution, but ignoring my messages was very unprofessional. I would not work with Duffy again in the future."
