"I went on nextdoor and google to find a reputable roofer...I thought I had found one...who had really good ratings on nextdoor and google...I hired this company in july 2021...they did the roof in August 2021...I had some redflags in the beginning after they started the job...they completed the 1200 foot roof in a day...but then they started to drag out over doing the soffit and facia boards...this dragged out for months...then I started to have leaks over my kitchen and bathroom...the first time they sent out a 3 man crew who did nothing but patched it...lousy workmanship...I asked for the carpenter who was working on the soffit and facia to do it...he did...he pulled up some shingles and found rotten decking that had not been replaced...while doing that he put his foot thru my kitchen ceiling...luckily I wasn't in there at the time...he redid that area w new decking and shingles and redid the sheetrock...it rained heavily and the two leaks in the bathroom turned into 4...(it eventually turned into 8 leaks in kitchen and bathroom...) streaming water luckily into the bathroom tub...he had cut a section of the bathroom ceiling out as I requested prior to the leaks as it was damaged to find out where the leaks were coming from...you could see rotten decking because the underlayment was showing...he tarped the roof area...then a month later came back and pulled off shingles...and started to piece the decking w stuff they had lying around at their shop...I guess...I had climbed up on the ladder I had to see what he had been doing...it was pieced together...my rafters were showing...boards just sitting on top of open areas...debris on roof of scattered shingles...rotten boards...and on ground...it hadn't a tarp to cover it over night...I text the carpenter as I'm documenting this...I told him if I'm putting out money on this I want new decking and complete sheets...and these pieces pulled up...he compiled...he wanted to sheetrock the bathroom ceiling...I said no...not yet I want it to go thru some really heavy rains to see if what happens...he saided ok...I climbed the ladder again to see what the roof looks like...I noticed an inclined to the roof where the other part of old roof meets the new section he replaced...he used 1/2" plywood so when it butts up against the older decking which is higher it leaves this incline...I've been told by a contractor that this is a potential leak... I have not paid this Roofing company yet... I talked to my insurance Co a month ago as he asked why I haven't sent it to my mortgage Co to get endorsed...I told him why...he told me not to pay them till roof is done...im going to get it inspected first as I found out they didn't get a permit till I wanted a copy of it which was after the roof was done...im an carpenter's daughter...my dad was deputy director of building inspection department when he retired...all this has been going on since Aug 26, 2021....8 months ago...and still continuing...I totally regret hiring this company...I just want people to know that even highly rated companies can do shoddy work and take advantage of unsuspecting people...how this company got these ratings I will never know...as of today...still leaking heavily in the corner of my kitchen...I have other issues going on w this roof..."

"Billy was strait-forward and honest with us. Good communications with the replacement of our existing roof. The crew was swift, efficient and delivered a great quality roof. Entire roof got ice and water shield and will be bronze certified. Overall the project took longer than expected, but we’d rather have quality over timeliness."

"This company is as incompetent as it comes (see pictures). I was initially quoted 4 days, but it ended up taking them 7 and a half weeks to completely ruin my roof. I have walked the roof and personally counted 138 screw holes in the metal that were left open when a screw was put in the wrong place then backed out. There is trim that is put in backwards and allows water to run under the metal instead of over. There are unsealed holes the size of dimes at every corner of the dormers and at the top of the valleys. The ridge is screwed on crooked, even after they "fixed it" once already. There is literally a water dam in one of the back valleys where metal was folded up at the end, creating a blockage and not letting water drain the way it is supposed to. No corner on the roof is sealed and instead of doing it right they put "ornamental" trim on to cover up the fact that they didn't do it right. The roof has leaked from the day they showed up on the job, plus they never came back to fix it or the water damage that they caused by not sealing it up. I have over 200 pictures, an inspection report, all of the texts between Matt and I and between myself and his incompetent workers, and I'm waiting on a quote for a complete roof replacement. I have also contacted my lawyer to begin the process of filing a lawsuit due to their extreme incompetence and shady business practices, and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Birmingham. Matt is quick to take your money, but he's in no hurry to make good on his word. I've also added some pictures to let others know the lack of quality that comes along with hiring Mobile Roofing and Construction. Update to your response: I made a side deal with the crew? I called YOU. YOU sent that crew out here. The quote is a carbon copy with YOUR business name on the header and the truck that showed up had YOUR business name on the side of it. The check was written to YOU. And now you're trying to put the blame on someone else? The reason you didn't get paid in full is because YOU reduced the price since it took your workers almost 2 months to do a roof. Just yesterday you responded to a text and said that I told the crew how to put the roof on and that's why it was installed incorrectly. Since when does a customer tell a roofing company how to install a roof? I'll even post a picture of the text so people can see just how shady you are."
