"After being told by other service centers it would be at least a month before they could look at my wife's Bernina I brought it here. In less than two days they not only looked at but had it up and running and for what I felt was a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Bessemer Sewing and Vacuum."
"I took 2 vintage machines here a few months ago after reading the many positive reviews. I've been struggling with whether to post a review since all the other reviews were so positive, but I thought someone else may benefit from my experience. The issue that disappointed me was the price. I made the mistake of not asking what the repairs would cost. No parts were replaced to my knowledge. One machine only needed a belt reattached and the other had a problem with the differential feed in which there was no discernible improvement. He said that this particular model tends to have this problem. I would rather he just said he didn't think he would be able to improve the feed and sent the machine back home with me. The 2 machines were ready the next day and THE BILL WAS A SHOCKING $300! There was no itemizing on the ticket. I won't use this business again. BEWARE...ASK FOR AN ESTIMATE BEFORE LEAVING YOUR MACHINE."
"Very friendly service. The gentleman who owns Bessemer Sewing and Vacuum is very knowledgeable about sewing machines and Vacuums. I have been going to him for many years with machines and vacuums not working and he has always been able to fix them. He usually has parts I may need but if not he can have them in his shop within a couple of days. He is a very hard working and honest businessman. He also has some unique items that are very interesting."
"Paul is amazing! I dropped off my sewing machine yesterday and he had it ready the same day. He even explained what was wrong and told me how to avoid it in the future. I love that his services come with a warranty. I highly recommend seeing him for any sewing machine services you need done."
