"Purchased and had hot tub installed December 2022. Noted within first week two switches that did not work. Contacted via phone numerous time, left notes at their office and personally visited office five times and was assured they would repair. To date (august 2023) no follow up, no repair. Just absurd!"
"We bought a hot tub from them and after only a year our jet pack went out, so they put a new one on. Then our pump broke, replaced it , now it won't heat. Going on 7 months and problem still not resolved and can't use hot tub. After repeated calls and text messages with no response, still waiting!!! Don't know, maybe they feel asleep, tired of having something we can't use. If you want customer service, wouldn't recommend"
"We bought a Strong spa there 6 years ago. After 3 years it needed a new pump. They came out and replaced the pump and the spa stared leaking. We couldn’t drain it completely without big time problems getting air out of the lines. We called several times for help but were told it’s pool season and they were too busy with pools. Then we tried Fix a Leak which requires the pumps to be on for 8 hours.. The pump they replaced failed after four hours. When I reached into the tub to remove a leaf I got a shock. I don’t recommend String or Shoals."
"Pleasantly surprised! Jan was very helpful and laid out my options so I could make a business decision regarding the cleaning of our family swimming pool. Walked away with a maytronics m400. And I'm watching it now cleaning the pool. Made the purchase based on her knowledge of cleaners and the ease of repair. Our S300i stopped working after about 5 years or so."
"Went in to get some quotes on an inground pool. The customer service was terrible. The lady came out and acted like she didn't have time for us. She looked us up and down and you could tell we were being profiled. When asking about prices she snarled her nose and spoke down to us making us feel like she was thinking "why are you wasting my time, y'all can't afford this." I guess I should have told her that we pay cash and don't finance anything but I guess my cash will work better elsewhere."
