"My fiancé had a bad experience his entire stay. From the childish, inexperienced staff to the trash and hole in his wall on his admittance day. After posting an initial negative review, I received calls and had a meeting as if things were going to be changed for the better. I was even offered a job lol!! The President (or whatever title he holds) of Castle Health made a lot of false promises to me. I reported this building to the state anyway. A childish HHA retaliated against my fiancé because I reported her. So I went back to the building with the same energy just for the nurse Faith to say family members cannot retaliate against staff or the police would be called. The idea that they allow people to work with residents who have firmly voiced their concern baffled me. Being short staffed is not the residents problem. My fiancé was suddenly released on a Friday evening with a box of bubble pack pills, no refill for Dexcom at any pharmacy and no discharge communication to his family physician, and as of the following Wednesday weekday, his family physician STILL hadn’t received DISCHARGE paperwork. The family doctor had no idea he was released until I called asking them what to do next. I watched our family doctor call University Park SEVERAL TIMES and they couldn’t get an answer about my fiancé the entire day for 3 consecutive days (and counting!) I feel so sorry for all of the older residents there. My heart really goes out to anyone who has to reside in that building. Do what you have to do to care for your loved one, but really consider the actual NEED of this place and its staff."
