Piper House

"Piper house was a wonderful place to stay while traveling back to Indiana to visit family. We used the house to host our family Thanksgiving and have part of our family stay with us. The owners were very responsive and had everything we needed to host Thanksgiving and family. The house was very welcoming and felt like home. I would highly recommend if you get the chance to stay here while visiting Monticello, IN you should. I can't say enough good things about our stay."

"Our rental experience at the Piper House was just wonderful and the best we've ever had in our many years of staying in vacation rental properties. The owners/hosts were beyond excellent with communications, attentiveness, amenities in the home, and providing a comfortable living space. The floorplan of the home is perfect with 2 wings, each having 2 bedrooms and a full bath, and an additional in-law suite that was great for Grandma and Grandpa. Everywhere we looked, we found thoughtful things that the hosts provided for us--keyless entry, plenty of coat hooks, comfortable couches with throws, THE most comfortable beds and linens, well stocked spice cabinet, all of the household needs like TP and cleaning supplies, toiletries, even robes in the closets! There was firewood stocked and nice chairs around the firepit. The home is very kid friendly with a playset in the back, sand toys for the beach, and a gated driveway that allowed the kids to ride bikes and scooter safely. I highly recommend Piper House and I hope to stay there again soon!"

"Really great house by the water. The owners have thought of everything you might need and spared no expense. It is immaculately clean and updated. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. The surrounding area is questionable for sure. I don't there's any danger, but there's a great opportunity for people watching. However, the home itself offers plenty of privacy from the surrounding area. Highly recommend for a quick weekend away."

"My group of 8 older guys stayed at the Piper House in October 2017 in conjunction with our annual golf retreat. We had a great stay!! The house was perfect including the kitchen, bedrooms, baths and especially the views and hot tub. It was immaculately clean upon arrival and we appreciated the extras Scott and Heidi added to make our stay as easy as possible. There were plenty of towels for the group and all the needed items in all areas of the home from kitchen utensils, chairs by the lake, grill and tools, tv with speakers outside, etc., etc. Only wish the fish would've been biting better!! Thanks to both of them for a great stay!"

"This place is PHENOMENAL!! The pictures are stunning but do not do this place justice. The owner's thought of everything when building and decorating The Piper House. Even the steps to the lake were well thought out and made going to and from the lake very easy. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything possible for my family to cook meals. I cannot say enough how wonderful The Piper House is. I am ready to be back !!"
