The highlight, of course, was the breathtaking lake view. Each morning, we woke up to the serene beauty of the water, and it's an experience that's hard to put into words. The vintage-style cabins only added to the charm, creating a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Speaking of home, our dogs absolutely loved the abundance of open space for walks. The expansive grounds around the Lake View Restore provided endless opportunities for our four-legged family members to stretch their legs and explore. If you ever find yourself craving a quick bite to eat, the small store by the office offers some seriously tasty pizza. It was the perfect solution for those nights when we didn't feel like cooking. One of the standout aspects of this establishment is the exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff. The owners and the team at the front desk went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. In conclusion, my family and I had an absolutely wonderful holiday at Outrigger Resort. We can't wait to return for another unforgettable experience!"

"Absolutely AMAZING stay! Truly the perfect location, walking distance to Indiana Beach. Great private dock with awesome view of the fireworks spectacular. LOVE waking up each morning on the lake. The new owners really have put a ton of dedicated time into making this a perfect gem on Lake Shaffer. Cannot wait to come back and make more family memories!! :)"

"The little cabin # 5 was perfect for the two us . It was wonderful to wake up with a cup of coffee and head right to the lake outside our door. There are only some small issues we would like to address. We walked up to the property, and the door was locked 30 mins prior to arrival. we were told it would be open. Cushions were left outside and completely soaked from the storm earlier, and grills were not cleaned out. Inside, the floors were dirty, and the coffee pot they were so generously supplied for us was really dirty. I had to clean it myself. Lastly, I wish they had more bike friendly paths, and there was at least 1 hour of an ADULT swim. I paid a nice amount, and we would have liked to enjoy the cool , refreshing pool without kids being kids. Out of those few minor complaints, I would definitely recommend all my friends to stay here. It felt safe and the staff was very friendly."
