"A very nice contribution to Peru Indiana. I love having the Cole Porter items on display. This puts my perspective on his personal life more three dimensional. Cole Porter's birthplace and resting place brings my annual visit full circle. I will continue this annual tradition."

"Staff is very knowledgeable and eager to help with questions. Their artifacts are described and documented in a computer archival system that allows the to locate the item. Large gun collection is well displayed and identified."

"Hadn't been to the Peru museum since I was a teenager. I always will remember the elephant skull. Plus I hadn't been in the building since it was Senger's department store. To bad they couldn't restore the pulley system that sent the payments to the office. It was an amazing contraption."

"An excellent place to learn some history about everything. I saw a lot of interesting artifacts and items. I took my 8-year-old and 10-year-old son here. They were not excited at first but after we started looking and reading they seemed to enjoy it. It was free and was something we did after visiting the Grissom Air Force Base. Good time and was able to learn some interesting things."

"The staff are absolutely amazing and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Miami county. The third floor circus exhibit shows the history of the circus in Peru with awesome exhibits, and don't even get me started on the Cole Porter Cadillac on the first floor! Over all it is a must see if you are ever in Peru. Definitely put this on your list of must see."
