"Everyone at the Shoals Animal Hospital has been wonderful with all of my family’s pets. We recently had to make the incredibly tough decision to put our dog down due to spontaneous aggression behavioral issues that we have continuously tried to get under control for 5 years with the help of multiple vets, trainers and animal rescues. The vet and vet tech at the Shoals Animal Hospital talked us through the decision, explained what was happening to her, and were very understanding with our decision. They not only comforted us during this difficult time, but they also got right down on the floor and joined us in comforting Sadie as she passed. It’s been very hard on my family the last few days, knowing she’s gone, because she was a great dog, however her random bursts of aggression caused both animals and humans to be at risk and often times injured. My family is incredibly grateful for the kindness and compassion the Shoals Animal Hospital has displayed in the last two years we have been bringing our pets to them, even with knowing Sadie’s history.
