"Customer service at this bank is not good. I have accounts at 2 other banks so I did have high expectations of what to expect fro a bank and after a year, I'm closing this one."

"With "Covid" destroying the normalcy of everyday life, I can understand having distancing and all that and deal with it. But there HAS to be a better way of handling it over the way it is handled here. My brother in Tennessee still can walk into his bank without an "appointment" and just has to maintain distance until it is his turn. I recently returned to People's after a long move to another bank and was unaware they had only ONE drive up window. You can't go inside, you have to wait, at times, 30 minutes in line. Several times I see people pull out and leave as we can't just sit all day to put money in a bank. Get another drive up machine in the middle isle. I had rolled coins and had to use a teller today so I had to wait. UPDATE: I've had to update my earlier review. I received personalized service from People's Bank in response to my displeasure and they have assured me they are working diligently on reopening the lobby for "in-bank" service and they appreciate our comments, good or bad because that's how businesses evolve and get better. This bank has proven to me they listen to us, and by reaching out to me personally on the phone and handling some of my other issues quickly and efficiently, they have earned themselves a lifetime customer. Thank you Brian for your quick actions and for all you did for me today."

"My husband and I went in to close a checking account because we moved and People’s Bank didn’t have a location in our area. We had $50 left in an old account and we were told that we had a “dormancy fee” for not using the account, and they took the money. It was never disclosed to us that we had a dormancy fee, nor were we ever alerted. Luckily we are taking our business elsewhere. My husband and I would never do business with them again. Update: People’s Bank called my husband today and they are sending him a $50 check. This could have been resolved by the representative at the bank. I still suggest they figure out what to do with her, but I appreciate the bank did something about this."

"Always friendly, plenty of tellers so there’s never a long wait. We have always had very good experiences with them. Very pleased and would recommend them to everyone."

"I've been with them many years. I only had one issue. It was resolved, but not quickly. However, this was the only time in 15 years. There fees are minimal. The online banking is free and easy to use. They did start using discover, but I've only ran into one place that hasn't taken it. The new chips are a pain, but I think most all new cards have them."
