MAX Credit Union

"This is my favorite Credit Union. However, they have replaced the tellers outside with self service machines. Great concept right? Welp!! They don't work. They will take your money and you have to go inside and complete a dispute, then told 5-10 to wait to get YOUR money. You don't know my predicament and the audacity you be told to wait is uncalled for. It also spits the checks back out and you can't deposit them. Like I said Great concept but there are issues. I guess issues are to be expected when you replace humans with machines with Everything. People make errors. But It can quickly be resolved. With machines, nope!."

"Went to bed with 20$ woke up to -279$. Tried calling to resolve issue. Kept on hold for upwards of 20 minutes 3 separate times. Disconnected the first time. Second time the rep was curt and attempted to transfer to sup without resolving issue. When I got on call and told her about my problems she could care less. No accountability statement. Just straight to " give me your authentication info" in the most monotone voice ever. Refused to tell her who I work for and she tried to transfer me to sup. After that didn't work she hung up on me after coming back on the line to tell me what she tried to do without my consent. This company is garbage. I hate max. This only the most recent issue in a long line of issues with max. Im so beyond frustrated with max"

"I've never written a bad review except for these people. It's the most frustrating company I've ever experienced in my whole life. I may have to get a lawyer. Nobody fixes anything. I pay every month on time but they still harassed me for Phantom late payments. Knock my credit report even though I've paid every month and every person I talk to says they see where I have paid but don't fix anything. It's a total joke of a business. Imo"

"Max Credit Union is still my first choice for banking in the Montgomery area. We've been customers since 1989. They provide excellent service and were extremely helpful when we needed documents notarized and an estate account set up. I do miss the days when Max Credit Union was Max Federal Credit Union. Back then you couldn't get an account unless you were military or related to someone with an account. It's a bit more crowded now. Their accounts are still very reasonable and they are the first placed I'd go for a car loan. They also have a very good mobile banking app."

"I dealt with Ms. Angie McClellan for getting a car loan. She helped me immensely throughout the entire process. She was very responsive and never lost patience with me even though I'm sure I drove her crazy for 3 days. :) Thank you Angie! You are amazing!"
