"The location was perfect for what we were doing that weekend but Salem doesn’t have a lot there. There were a couple of good restaurants and a nice coffee shop across the street. The room was great - clean, comfortable, everything worked (like the TV, whirlpool tub, coffee pot). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool area was clean. Love that the pool was salt water. We will go back!"
"We stayed one night. Was told at check-in the pool was closed as they just did chemicals. No hot tub, it was filled in years ago even though it still is in pictures and listed on amenities. Room was ok, looked like artwork had been ripped off the wall. Originally tried calling before we got there, but no one answered the phone several times we called. Breakfast was pretty basic. We did return to Salem a week later, but stayed elsewhere."
"We have stayed at this hotel 2 years in the past, and had a reservations another year which they were very helpful in switching reservation to a friend when we were unable to attend due to a death in the family. We have had nothing but amazing, professional, and good service from this hotel. It will always be our #1 choice every year for the Halloween race. This year we did encounter an issue with being checked out of our room a day early but after receiving the email that we had been checked out I called and they took care of the issue ASAP... excellent customer service!"
"Had to go all the way to the front desk. Our room was upstairs at the opposite end of the hotel. Just to ask how to use the shower. WHY??????? Never in 60+ years have I had to ask. Could have left a note in room. Breakfast was ok. Watered down OJ. watered down waffle mix. NO YOGURT NO BANANAS. Ran out of coffee"
"Visiting family in the area. The rooms was clean and bedding was nice. The first morning (Monday) . The warmer I guess was never turned on. Breakfast was cold eggs was not even warm. Had to chase someone down for coffee. The next morning Breakfast was hot and there was sausage with eggs. Coffee was full. So depends on who is working if Breakfast is good or not. Need to look into your help. Overall I would stay again."
