"This is truly a joke the place is run down there's no help she don't wanna pay for food help so over priced it's not funny bathrooms never get cleaned and kitchen floors walls ongoing problems not mention I quit as her acting property manager because she was ripping me off and to cheap to fix it the way it truly deserves.i would not waist my time on this place until new owners take it over the house deserves good owners"

"Very disappointing. Looked nice on line but needs a lot of work. Don’t get wrong I love old houses but the floors were separating grime the walls! There was no one there to meet us. I called 4 times only to get a mailbox that was full. Codes on the doors which we did not receive for 1 hr. It was dark and no lights were on. Dark floors and dark stairway steps blended and if you weren’t careful you could have walked right down the steps. The bathroom sink was full of brown water - I called but since it’s was late no one came to fix it and that’s ok but no one came the next morning either. The sheets smelled musty like they hadn’t been changed for a while."

"Megan the manager was a very nice and helpful. I will stay there again. Rooms are very spacious. The house still needs some TLC but I'm sure it will get it. Trailer parking is available but you have to back up the driveway. No space to turn with a big trailer. Much better than a hotel!!!! Safe environment and quiet. The only reason it is getting only 3 stars is because a bed and breakfast should have some type of breakfast. Only coffee was offered. Could maybe offer donuts and some breakfast sandwiches to throw in the microwave."

"Fantastic place to stay, really characterful and everything was spotless. Independently owned and renovated I only stayed overnight so didn’t make use of all of the facilities, but it seemed very well equipped Very happy I skipped the chain hotel/motels and went for this stay - I’ve paid double the price for accommodation that doesn’t remotely compare Photo is of the room with private bathroom"

"The house, itself was pretty cool. We were told the rooms are chilly and the heat was turned on... fast forward to bedtime, it's still 59 degrees in our room with no way to adjust the heat. The thermostat is locked up, behind a lock box. We froze the entire night... the room never went above 59 degrees. Needless to say, we will just grab a room in Lafayette the next time we are down there."
