Primrose School of West Fishers

"I wouldn’t recommend this facility to anyone….except my ex mother in law. Management was made aware by multiple staff that a teacher was withholding food from students at lunch time and their response was that they couldn’t “get rid of her because they didn’t have enough staff “ this same teacher was also reported for grabbing students and getting in there face. Incident reports were ripped up because management “didn’t want to open that can of worms.” A teacher reported to management suspected abuse of a child that was in her care multiple times and it was dismissed. Their turnover is extremely high and in the time my child was there I can see why. They don’t genuinely care about children. They promote from classroom helper to teacher without discussing it or raising employees pay. Also if you work here make sure you type up multiple copies of your two weeks notice and hand them out to all staff, post it in the break room and email it. Multiple staff members have turned theirs in and somehow everyone knew about it but at the end they state they never got it so your last two checks will be minimum wage. These people are here for the money and nothing else. You’d be better off dropping your kids off with the monkeys at the zoo."

"I can’t recommend primrose school of west fishers because they were so helpful and I can’t thank them enough! My daughter was diagnosed with cancer and they supported me and let her come again and join the daycare so she can see her best friends again and had lots of fun activity! She learned a lot the past year she attended it and she learned a lot about respecting and helping others. My heart is full and all the teachers were so nice with me and her and provide us with everything we want! All the teachers are doing their jobs perfectly and my daughter learned lots of new stuff that related to math, literacy and art! I am so happy to be part of primrose family. Seeing my daughter smiling everyday is the most amazing thing any parent wants to see!"

"I love primrose west of fishers with all of their staffs. I work their and have my 3 kids in primrose attending after school program.. they truly love to come every day even when they have break from their elementary school. They had new adventures learning a lot and easy to make a friends, and always go home very happy. For me as a teacher I make sure to take care of the kids as their are my own kids and i am sure all the teachers do that. We not only focus on curriculum but we also give love to our lovely students and you can feel that when you bring your little one to the class and see their expressions when they see us. Don't hesitate to join primrose."

"Not a safe or clean place. The teacher turnover is so high that I often didn’t know the people caring for my child. Turnover is expected, but they had a mass exodus of teachers and staff (including the director) around May and it’s just never stopped. They weren’t there long enough to know the parents, so anyone could’ve walked in and taken my child (because they dont require ID, which is a legal issue). In addition, the curriculum director started bribing my child to get certain behaviors. One of the teachers left my husband and I alone with a full classroom of kids (a legal issue). My kid’s blanket got taken away for an unknown reason. When we brought concerns to management, they were very dismissive. No cameras and very little accountability. There were often situations where teacher to student ratio was higher than allowed (a legal issue). They also don’t provide incident reports when there’s an injury (a legal issue) - my child got bitten by another kid and all staff brushed it off as a punch or a random bruise (it’s obviously a bite mark). As far as the requirements for licensure, multiple were not followed and illegal things occurred (some included above). My child was starting to be nervous about going after a while. CPS is involved. I wouldn’t recommend this center. To her credit, when I told the executive director why we left (she works at a different office), she was “mortified”. She is working on resolving these issues. But it was too late for us and we didn’t feel our child was safe there anymore. We pulled our kid out without notice but of course were still made to pay two more weeks’ tuition, per the rules. We obviously didn’t attend those last two weeks."
