"I took my daughter here today for her first eye exam at Midwest Eye. All of the staff were amazing! We saw a few techs who were so great with her, the Assistant Manager was amazing and even checked on us again because they knew my daughter was worried about wearing glasses. The employees working in the optical shop were friendly and helpful. Dr. Holman was amazing with her as well and very good at explaining what she was doing before doing things. There is honestly nothing that could have improved our experience here, I am glad we scheduled an appointment at this location."

"After 3 tries, it was a success! A long but necessary review below. I had misplaced my glasses after a trip and came to them with an outside prescription since the place I normally go to, Rothbaum eye's optical person was out sick at the time and I needed a new pair ASAP. Since I had an un-updated backup pair I brought them in to use the frame. I brought them in on a Monday, and that same Friday I received a call from optical asking me to come in to have a lens trace done. Confused I came in, since that was done on Monday. The lens trace must not have saved since they did not have it in their system, and they asked me if I have my frames with me - but I left them there on Monday. Apparently they were misplaced somewhere. They called me later that day to let me know they were found and placed in the wrong area in their office. Fast forward a few weeks when I came to pick up my glasses, I noticed how thick the glass was. I questioned this as I had been wearing glasses since 6th grade and never had them this thick. The wrong prescription was entered apparently - it was not converted appropriately (when an MD writes it, there is a conversion factor as opposed to when an optometrist writes it - but an optical place would know this). I gave them back so they could be fixed. I had another trip coming up in a week, so I let them know I would need the glasses prior to then. I picked them up finally, and since I had been wearing contacts for about a month at that point, it took me about a day for my eyes to re-adjust to wearing glasses. The following day when they were more adjusted, I noticed the slightest movement of my eyes away from the center of the lens was blurry and I couldn't read anything. That meant using my peripheral vision when driving was unsafe. I came back into the office to let them know, and they agreed to make me a new pair of lens while I kept the current ones. Finally after another 2 weeks, I picked up my new and fixed lens. All together roughly 1.5 months passed. I very rarely write reviews but with this awful experience I wanted to let others know. The girl at the optical place is new and learning, so although this mistake may not repeat itself once she is more comfortable with her job, I do not recommend this place."

"I don’t recommend that place, go somewhere else This office has lost 3 patients as my family and I If i can put less than one star I will The front disk are not professional they are doing multiple exams for my daughter which is not covered by the insurance and the doctor know that, they just want to get more money for the insurance company and the parents Also they are taking more than an hour to see the patient , it’s just Wasting your time we will not support a business that rips off their customers."

"My husband got something in his eye at work and they were able to fit him in quickly to be seen. They were very helpful during the appointment and even provided us with the necessary paperwork to submit for workman's comp."
