Motel 6 Lafayette, IN

"Reserved room with microwave, no microwave in room girl up front can’t help. Only one set of towels so I had to get more then found out the one set that was in the room looked like someone cleaned the floor with it. Wash cloth was just as dirty. Pictures show towels and bed linens. Bed linens had stains and stray hairs. They ask for a 50 dollar deposit even if paying with credit card. Called customer service and talk to a real person. Nearly non existent water pressure. I was in room 240. This statement is directed to the manager of this motel6. Don’t hand me your generic apology and excuse because I know you don’t mean it. Fix the damn problem!!! Not a lot of tv channels to watch. Cleaning staff needs to be replaced by somebody that knows what they’re doing. They cheaper out on the remodeled rooms. My floor was popping up in places. Honestly, this place is disgusting."

"I booked room for 7 days. Paid extra for early check-in. Room 240 went in pulled blanket back on bed sheet had 3 big DIRTY stains, somebody's hair in tub,, microwave was dirty and I had to clean toilet to use it... $30 for early check-in i should have waited. They changed my room to 242. A little better. Woke up at 8:45am next day to a Big ROACH crawling on wall I called office they said call bk after 12 noon. Next morning another on floor i called office same thing noon. Noon they spray and kept me in same room. Next day they switched me to room 238 I was sick the whole last 3 days from the roach spray. Check out day I go to office ask for some type of constellation for my troubles they said manager won't be there till noon. So they think this is off."

"Got hung up on because they didn't understand my english (her wording not mine). I don't feel you should have a business if you can't take the time to learn/understand what people are saying (asking in my case). Of you can't understand you'll never be able to tale advice given for better experience for guests. Not to mention, front desk at night is RUDE!"

"So I have stayed at this hotel before and after renovations. What a drastic improvement is all i can say! Under the new management this hotel has done a fantastic job of making this budget friendly hotel feel safe and comfortable. The newly renovated rooms feel pretty luxurious for a motel 6. For the price this once 2 star hotel gets a 5 out of 5 from me. I'll be forgetting the headaches and hassles of staying anywhere else when I'm in Lafayette IN."

"I booked a king room in August but when I checked in I was told that no king rooms were available due to remodeling. I was offered a queen room. I took it but when I walked in I noticed that it was missing a mini fridge and microwave. I went back to the front desk and asked for the amenities. I was told that none of the rooms come with this and it would cost extra and they would try to get these for me, but could not guarantee availability. I then asked for a refund if they couldn’t provide the items that had been listed on my original reservation. I was told that I would be getting a full refund and just to turn in the keys. I still have not received a refund and have been calling and getting the run around and being told the manager is never available. Honestly, this hotel is setup for more of a by-the-hour service and trafficking. I would think twice before stopping by."
