"I spoke to a very nice lady here. She helped me understand that what I believe about shelters is 100% correct:. Shelters are inadequate and deter the country from finding the homeless REAL HOMES. However she also neglected to tell me that Lafayette has a real problem with rich snobs and I found that out for myself later The rich snobs are so bad in Lafayette that I had other poorer people tell me they put up with harassment and discrimination from the rich all the time! I left so angry! I sincerely asked God to HUMBLE the rich and exalt the poor"

"Some things were overpriced, buy many were underpriced or decent. Books (children) were amazing deal and some nicknacs too. Good selection of clothes, and they had new baby clothes for VERY good price. Friendly staff, however, line took some time ( they were short staffed) so understandable. They also have a bathroom that you can use. Never went to a Salvation Army store (to my knowledge) so I was quite impressed for my 1st time. I definitely want to go back."

"Had a large load of things to donate. Asked for help unloading. Employee came out. Didn't help unload, but did complain the entire time about the amount of things I was donating. Next time I'll take my donations somewhere where they are appreciated."
