Best Western Kokomo Hotel

"So this is a nice place though a little run down. For instance the frame around our door has been kicked or bumped off. There are frequent plug-in smell goods in the hallways....makes me wonder what smell they are covering up. Everytime we get in the elevator there is a strange smell and the doors are not wiped down as evidenced by all the finger and hand prints. And lastly the water pressure in the shower is nonexistent! We have to stand all the way at the water end of the shower and point the shower head straight up to the ceiling....in order to get any water away from the wall!!! Crazy! Took me three times as long to shower!!!!"

"Staying one night? You should be ok. Longer than that? AVOID The room was ok other than the tub isn't flat on the bottom and extremely slippery. I had to buy a mat for it. Whoever cleaned my room was great. That is the end of the complaints for this facility. Staying for months at a time, I wanted to use the washer and dryer. They are broken and they couldn't give me an answer when it was to be replaced. The daily breakfast starts at 6 am which is when I start work. Sunday is the only day I could eat it . At 6:20 am the eggs, bacon and waffle mixture was out and not getting replaced. But she kept wiping the counters clean. Staying here is like getting a backhanded compliment. Everyone is polite to your face but they have to be laughing when they walk away."

"Quiet room. Room was VERY warm on a -25 windchill night. Hotel and room very clean. Pool felt warm at first. We took a swim and that lasted only minutes. We went back to our room to take turns taking a bubble bath. We realized that the tub did not hold water. When we called for a tub stopper they did not have any, and if they did we would have to come down ourselves and get it. Usually coming down ourselves would not bother us but due to the weather the first floor halls were extremely cold and of course worse if wet. We used the laundry bag to stop the drain so we could get our baths in only to find that the lining of the tub was peeling layer by layer as it got wet. Things were fine minus that situation."

"Upon check in at 3pm our room wasn't ready and that was fine it was a busy, the staff were very friendly and let us place our luggage in the rooms awhile, because we wouldn't be returning till later that night anyway. Room was very clean no issues there. Only two complaints, the air conditioning made the room smell musty, only noticeable when first entering but then you got used to it. And the shower had the worst water pressure, maybe due to the fact the shower head is a rainfall style but the way the tub is shaped you can't stand under it like it's intended. And the tub is EXTREMELY slippery. Overall though hotel was very quiet,clean. And will definitely stay here again."

"All the staff I encountered were welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was typical and acceptable though the coffee machine was not working for regular coffee. The bed was amazing and the room was clean. The water pressure is only a little more than a trickle. All in all a satisfactory stay and I would stay here again."
