"Spent over 30 minutes today on hold waiting to reschedule my children's appointments. Finally, I talked to someone, but she said the next availability was 2 months away. I'll just have to rearrange my work schedule and keep their current appointments. I've been happy with the care we have received otherwise in the past 8 years. The 3 stars is for the difficulty in scheduling appointments. This should be deferred to central scheduling of some kind. In addition: both of my children were seen at the same day and time. My insurance was provided for BOTH. One child's bill had the insurance added and the other didn't. They've been sending me full price bills for my second child and refuse to add the insurance like they should have originally. Sadly, after 9 years, I'm going to take my children elsewhere next time."
"Can't ever get ahold of anyone 95% of the time your on hold for 30 mins or more. There are good doctors but most don't really here your concerns when it comes to children. Annoying."
"Dr. Julie Friend is amazing. Dr. Friend was so wonderful with her and she had great ways to describe what tools she was using during the checkup to make my daughter comfortable."
"My son was extremely nervous and having anxiety to get his "1st" stitches removed. Mrs. H Shirley did an amazing job keeping him calm and talking him through the process. Definitely need more child nurses and doctors like her. Very professional and very helpful to explain information in children terms."
"Dr Friend is absolutely amazing! We love her. She not only talks to the parent but to the kids and listens to them! She gets to the bottom of whatever is going on right away! My kids have been with Witham for almost 16 years now! They've always been great to us!"
