Hampton Inn & Suites Hammond

"Definitely not worth 100+$ a night... The curtains were ripped when we got here. The bathroom floor has obviously not been mopped in weeks. The pool has been shut down for some reason. But before I checked in they told me they had a indoor pool. And so I bought the two nights. When I went to go swimming, it turned out It was closed...they were nice enough to talk to the hotel across the street and let us swim there But it's very cold outside and really awkward to go across the street in your bathing suit and then come back. Soaking wet..... so not the best experience. Although I do appreciate that they tried with their customer service on that. We ran out of towels and toilet paper which was fine. But when I asked for them to bring some, they said we have to come and get it. I thought that was weird. Maybe that's just me though. I don't know overall It was just kind of an uncomfortable / awkward. Stay for the amount that we were paying. The beds seem clean except for a couple of random little spots, but yeah, probably not gonna do that again."

"One of the best hotel stays I’ve had in a long time. There was a small issue with my initial room that needed to be addressed, Katrina and her staff did an outstanding job at providing great service and rectifying the issue expeditiously. Everyone that I encountered from Housekeeping to Management was very pleasant, accommodating, and displayed stellar customer service awareness. Thank you for making this a great experience."

"We don't understand the horrible reviews. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and check-in was quick and easy. Before we brought our stuff in, we checked the room for cleanliness issues. The room was fine -- not brand new or anything but acceptable. No issues like the reviews posted here ... room was clean, no bedbugs, etc. Bed was comfortable, and everything in the room worked with the exception of the phone charger outlets, which need to be fixed. There were some stains on the chaise lounge, but that didn't affect us. Overall, it was an OK place."

"Hotel room had stains on the sofa, stains on the chair, stains on the curtains and stains on the wall. Bed sheets had hair on both beds. The top sheet had a large stain. The shower/bathroom had grime all over and the looked very dirty. The sofa had food remnants on it and what looked like a booger. I mentioned the sheets to the front desk staff right after we checked in and they promptly changed the sheets for us. Tue staff was nice. Based upon the appearance of the room it clearly doesn’t seem like cleanliness is a priority at this hotel. I wouldn’t recommend staying here."

"This is a nice hotel. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping staff were helpful and friendly. Hamptons have a nice room setup. The room is divided by a desk separating the bed from the sofa. The bathroom sink is outside the bathroom with the shower and the toilet. There is a beverage bar with the refrigerator, coffee bar, and sink. Breakfast is served from 6:00 am to 10:00 am. That is each day, not just on the weekend. I used the fitness center each day and found it well equipped."
