"What a gem! Hidden in this little town is a park full of great equipment. Castles for children to climb and workout equipment for is grown ups. Or if you feel fancy, a game of tennis."
"Great playground for kids. Well maintained especially for a public park. They have tennis, basketball courts and an outside gym. They have a nice shelter house with picnic tables on a poured concrete slab. They also have a pool that is open in season. Restrooms are available and have beencleanwhen we have been there. Definitely a hidden gem in Mitchell!!"
"It's a good place to take kids to play. There were lots of kids there playing. They had lots of fun in a short amount of time. It was a little crowded. We got the last picnic table to eat our lunch."
"Honestly, this playground is nearly the most enjoyable in all of Lawrence County in my opinion! Its layout and wooden-build is unique in comparison to the out-of-date playgrounds in Bedford. Only downside is I have yet to find an accessible restroom; that could be different with the seasons. There are 2 horizontal tire swings!"
