Flying Squirrel Axe Throwing is a thrilling adventure located at 5748 Crawfordsville Road in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our expert axe coaches provide safety protocols and comprehensive training to help you master the art of axe throwing like a pro! Each lane is equipped with projected targets and a scoring tablet loaded with fun games.
You can qualify for the World Axe Throwing Championship by participating in our 5 leagues each season, with discounted rates for additional leagues. Compete in matches on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, with a double elimination tournament in week 8.
Our facility features 20 axe lanes, a private room, a bar, and an arcade for a complete entertainment experience. We offer meal packages, snacks, and a variety of beverages including beer, hard seltzer, ciders, hard kombucha, and wine. Closed-toed shoes are required, and participants must be at least 10 years old.
Reservations require a non-refundable deposit, with the option to reschedule up to 24 hours in advance. Sessions are $25/person for 1 hour or $40/person for 2 hours, with the option to rent a private room for groups. Credit/debit cards and cash are accepted, and tips for axe coaches are appreciated. "Awesome experience in Western Indianapolis! I’d never been axe throwing before, but it was an absolute blast. I went as part of a Bachelor Party, and the staff were so nice and helpful to us. They were really cool, and they taught us how how to throw various sharp things. They also took our photo for us for our party. The targets also had projector overlays so you could play various games such as darts, battleship, tic-tac-toe, and a cornhole type game while throwing axes or other objects! It was so cool!! All in all, Flying Squirrel is a very unique and enthralling experience. It’s 100% worth a trip!"

"We held our company Christmas party here and was a blast. From start to finish, everything was great. Ryan, the owner, helped me set up my event. He gave me 3 catering options and then he took care of the rest. On the night of the party, we showed up and all the food was there, set up and hot. The food was from Bourbon and Barbecue, a local BBQ place - it was great and there was plenty of it! During the event, the staff walked around coaching everyone on how to throw axes. They were friendly, engaging and fun. Everyone had a fantastic evening and have been talking about it all week.We had a great experience and would highly recommend Flying Squirrel for any corporate event, or even just a night of family fun.
