About the Business

Located in Noblesville, Indiana, the Bray Family Homestead Park is Hamilton County's newest park, offering a serene escape for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. With plans to include trails, overlooks, feeding areas, and new plantings, this 92-acre park is a work in progress that promises to be a beautiful addition to the community.

Currently, visitors can enjoy observing and admiring the spring wildflowers that bloom in the park. The park was acquired from the Bray Family in 2007 and has since been a popular spot for locals and tourists alike.

One unique feature of the Bray Family Homestead Park is the community garden, where individuals can reserve plots to grow flowers or vegetables. Reservations for garden plots open on the first business day of the new year in January, and interested individuals can reserve online.

In an effort to address the need for more parkland in Hamilton County, the county parks department is seeking input from the public on how to best utilize the newly acquired HC Farms property and further develop Bray Family Homestead Park. A public meeting was held to gather ideas and suggestions for recreational activities, amenities, and programs that should be considered in the park's master planning.

Whether you're looking to enjoy a leisurely stroll through nature, tend to a garden plot, or participate in community events, Bray Family Homestead Park offers something for everyone. Visit the park to experience the beauty of nature and contribute to its development as a valuable community resource.

"Nice gravel trails (two-tracks) to walk on and a community garden full of pollinators. I have a 3 and a 4 year old that really enjoyed themselves. The mostly flat trails aren’t extensive so it’s a great place for people that don’t want to or can’t go far. Extremely well maintained and clean. Hamilton County Parks Department is doing a really good job with this place!"

"It had a pleasant little playground we saw a few kids playing on while we were on a date here. We also saw a few dogs on leashes going for walks. It looks like their basketball courts are used a bit. More importantly it was a great place to go for a craft day date night! We made goofy friendship bracelets at the picnic tables and got to talk to some friendly Indy peeps!"

"This park is simple, no major features, but offers the Maple Madness program every February. This program honors the Bray family's history of making maple syrup and allows the public to at how it's done."
