"My daughter is taking flute lessons here. They have been nothing short of amazing. She has gotten so much better in a short time. They take the time to go over not just paying the instrument, but understanding the music theory as well. She is now teaching my wife and I about music."

"The rep who initially signed me up allowed for my payments to be taken out on the 15th of each month. She also put me on autopay. Therefore my payments on the 15th took me from May-Jun, Jun-Jul, and Jul-Aug. I cancelled my daughters classes around 07/03 as she could not be attending anymore. Come July 15th, I was charged $130 for classes Jul-Aug. I called back -of course- and the rep said that because payments are taken out on the 1st of the month, the cancellation would’ve had to happen before July 1st, so they can not provide me a refund. I explained that my payments were taken out on the 15th of each month, and the way the previous agent explained it to me was that my payment on the 15th would take me to the following month. Therefore, the payment on July 15th would take me to August 15th, and she would not be attending. Essentially I am paying them for a service that we can’t use. The rep said that even so, cancellations must be done before the 1st because that’s when they take out payments. She mentioned that we were given a packet on the first day that explained billing and cancellations. I was in the class with her on first day. The teacher didn’t realize he had a lesson, and we did not get a packet that day. There are other reasons for the 1 star review, but this is the biggest one."

"We’ve been at Valley Conservatory for over a year now and each week I’m glad we made this choice! My son takes cello from Mr. Kevin Lay and has grown so much in his skill and confidence. He has had opportunities for personal advancement, concert playing, scholarships, and more because of his enrollment at Valley Conservatory...opportunities that would not have been available to him otherwise. The staff is supportive and encouraging, and very willing to work to find a teacher and lesson time which are a good fit for each student. I love listening to my son play cello and I love seeing him thrive. Thank you, VC, for making that all happen!"
