My husband and I were very excited to discover the Premiere Martial Arts studio at such a convenient location for our family. Towards the end of July, I contacted the Premiere Martial Arts Mccalla on their facebook page. The team responded back that same day with ample information for our family to begin to sign our son up. Even better, I received a personal phone call from one of their team leaders, Preston. Preston has been our lead contact throughout our journey with martial arts, and I am excited that he has become such a positive role model and teacher for my son. He goes the extra mile to communicate with parents in a professional and efficient manner, and is always looking for additional ways to incorporate the values of self respect and discipline the children are learning both in class and in the home. Now, I must tell you all of my son’s instructor, Mr. V. Mr. V is not only highly skilled in Martial Arts, but also has a gift for communicating with the kids in his class in a positive and uplifting manner. He promotes self discipline whilst engaging with kids. He makes the classes fun for the kids and fun for the parents to watch! Not to mention he has tremendous patience… (Have you ever tried to teach a classroom of 5-7 years old how to do a sequence of punches and kicks then have them collectively say, “Yes, Sir!” ?) Mr. V earns immediate respect from the kids in his class, and gives them the same respect in return. Every team member I have come into contact with at this studio always has a smile on their face to welcome you to class. This team is highly knowledgeable and physically skilled in the practice of Martial Arts. They understand how to effectively teach kids self discipline and self defense. This team encourages and promotes values that my husband and I want our children to have. My son, Gray, has already moved up to his yellow belt, and has every intention to work hard so that one day he may receive his black belt. I love seeing my son so motivated and proud.
