"My daughter collects antiques and loves shopping here when we come to visit. We have visited other antique shops in the area, but I'm really impressed with the selection and cleanliness of the Red Barn. The amount of dust in one of the shops aggravated my allergies horribly."

""Antique" and "vintage mall," or flea market? The good things seem to be gone from this "antique mall." Don't look for some nice old mugs or restaurant plates, antique ceramics or metal treasures. No more. Now one can find lots of nice but useless trinkets and even stuff that can be purchased in a supermarket for less. We are antique collectors, but there were no items that we could have purchased for our collection in this "antique mall." For instance, the famous Willow plates that are so much sought for, depression glass items, rare records, etc. have almost no representation. We have been to this place again and again in the past five years, but we have never found one single item that we wanted to purchase. Other knowledgeable and informed "Red Barn Antique Mall" reviewers confirm our recent conclusions. The good items are gone from the "antique mall," while the prices for the useless items have gone sky high. According to the "owner" of the "mall," though, 90% of the "junk" has been removed from the "mall" so that only the good "antiques" and "vintage" things remain. That "junk" may be the good things that are gone from the "mall." One issue that seems to recur in the reviews is how inconsiderate, disrespectful, and mean the "owner" seems to be with the customers. One can see that even from the response posted to this review. Most of the response didn't address the facts but contained personal attacks on the reviewer. That is not kind, and is not nice. Those who want to visit a REAL antique, vintage, and old items store must visit the Owensboro Trading Post. This place contains thousands of collectables - glass, ceramics, metal, tools, TVs, radios, and furniture of all kinds at good and modest prices. We purchased, for instance, a brand-new Pie Pan for 1 dollar!!! I have posted with this review some pictures from the REAL antique place, the Owensboro Trading Post, in order to show the customers the difference between a flea market and a true antique, vintage, and old items store. Like the "owner" argues, "It's all perspective"!"

"I have shopped at Red Barn Antique Mall for years and always enjoy my visits. My most recent purchase was a glass cabinet that I put at my entrance/kitchen area. I'm in love with it and have received so many compliments. Love the store and the atmosphere! A must see when visiting Historic Corydon, Indiana."
