Heritage Fireplace Showroom

"This is the absolute worst company to deal with. Once they make the sale, you are literally forgotten after that. I have a White Mountain Hearth Gas Fireplace (The Vail Series) purchase from The Heritage Fireplace Showroom. I called for yearly maintenance, lighting the pilot and making sure it was ready for the upcoming cold weather. I was put on a list and told it would take awhile but after waiting, literally months no one came. I called and was put on hold, with no one ever answering. I did go into the store and the owner told me that I had never called. I had my phone and showed her where I had and the length of time I waited. She then called a technician to see how long of a wait it would be and was told he was the only one and was wayyy behind, it could be 8 weeks. She told me that it would cost $99 for the tech and once diagnosed it would take several MONTHS to get back to me. I had a warranty and was still in effect. That was a year ago and to date, I have not seen or heard from the tech or the owner. Of course, in the meantime the warranty had run out. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE, FOR ANYTHING!!!"

"After reading some comments had to post one, if you think this place is high or you dont like it go to walmart then. Walmart isn't going to test your pool water and give you advice not going to have pool covers and obviously not going to have everything. Heritage may seem high because it's a specialty store, your not buying a loaf of bread or a pound of meat. Might spend 100 on chemicals, could you go to Evansville sure but when I go to Evansville it's not just a quick trip. You will buy chemicals go out to eat and spend money on gas. How is that a savings? You can drop off a sample in their mail box after hours, who else does that. Trust me it's tough to buy chemicals and pour them into a pool, but it's what you do if you are going to own and operate a pool. Chlorox brand at walmart is no match for bioguard. Try the tablets or makes water smooth have to try for yourself. If you are wondering, no I am not friends with owners no I dont live in the hills and no I'm not a rich snob. I have a 16 ft above ground pool."
