"I debated on whether to post this or not but I believe others need to be aware. We purchased one of the larger lazy boy leather recliners 6 years ago. We purchased this so that our dog could comfortably sit with my husband. We had a 20 year old recliner that had no issues (we gave to a young couple). Last year, where my husband's head hit the top of the recliner, a small wear appeared. We went to Lazy Boy and was told that there was nothing they could do as we did not purchase the extended warranty. We contacted their repair facility and was told the color leather was no longer available. The only thing they offered was a 20% discount on a new $2,000 plus recliner. I don't know about any of you, but that is not what I expected from Lazy Boy. I have not figured out how to fix the repair yet. I personally will never buy another Lazy Boy product as obviously not only their customer service and quality have fallen greatly. I hope this does not happen to any of you. When you do a search, this is what you find: In today's robust consumer furniture market where the technology for quality recliners is spread out amongst many manufacturers, the value for La-Z-Boy products may not live up to its reputation. In fact, what you are paying for may only be the La-Z-Boy name."
