"COMMUNICATION GOES A LONNNG WAY! We took our Boston Whaler (that I just had to have) in to Sportsman Marine to sell it. We'd only had it a few months but rarely used it and we were leaving for 3 months so sadly, it was the best decision. It's a gorgeous boat with very few miles on it. The previous owner is a good friend and used it very little but took immaculate care of it so we bought it. There were a couple of small issues on the boat, SM said they would repair it while there...AWESOME. Our main goal was to to sell it as quickly as we could and was told, (paraphrasing), "Oh there is a cult following for this type of boat, we'll sell it in no time!" Just got home a week ago only to find out they obviously didn't try to sell it after almost 3 months. We dropped it off with them the last week in May and repairs weren't done until the middle of August..nor were we being notified of any type progress....NO communication. We received a bill for $640.00. My husband was rather upset and told Jason just to get the boat, we'll take it somewhere else."

"After some months of research and looking around, my wife and I decided to purchase a new golf cart from Sportsman‘s Marine. Jason was our sales rep, and did a great job with the sales process, and even had the cart delivered to us. Unfortunately, after several weeks there was an issue with the cart and it was making a sound as if there was a problem with the motor. One of the associates (Erick)came to pick it up from her house and also dropped off a loaner so we would have a golf cart to use while ours was being serviced. Erick did a great job staying in touch with the progress of our cart repair. Unfortunately it could not be repaired, and the owner Hank called to let us know they were going to give us a brand new golf cart. They made sure that it was exactly the same as the one we had purchased, and again brought it to our house and picked up the loaner. While no one is happy when they have a brand new purchase that does not work out perfectly, Hank, Jason, Erick, and Tyler, all did an incredible job of making sure that we as customers were taken care of the best possible way. The new cart is great and we love it. They also worked it out from an administrative standpoint so we would not have to re-register the new cart and pay additional fees. I was very, very impressed with the customer service aspect of working with this dealership, and would highly, highly recommend using them for boating, Yamaha engine, and golf cart needs. You rarely see this kind of customer service any more, and kudos to them for their help and follow up..."

"They have serviced my Yamaha on a Capehorn and kept it running in top shape. The staff are very nice and treat you like family not just a customer. Hank will personally take the time out of his busy schedule to explain everything to you and to make sure you are in the best shape. Charles the mechanic does a great job. I recomend them for all your Yamaha service needs and any boating needs."
