"It was a little off the beaten path which is not a bad thing. I got a very good feeling when I walked inside and I could feel Dr. Jessica's high vibrational energy as soon as she walked through the door. It was very comforting to say the least. I would recommend her to anyone."
"I had my first appt with Lori Pohly and there's no way to sugar coat it, it was awful. Unprofessional. Condescending. Mocking. Insensitive. Dismissive. I went for Child Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in an Adult and past history of eating disorders related to food insecurity. She had the audacity to smirk while I was talking about symptoms. I asked what she was smiling about and thinking? She said, "Well, I'm thinking that you talk like you have anorexia, but... :::: points up and down toward me:::::: you obviously, don't have that. Yes, thank you for that reminder. Yes, I'm overweight and no longer am anorexic but still have anorexic behaviors, perceptions, and thinking. I pointed out an instance of starving as a child, with NO food and having water mixed with ketchup as soup. She decided to dismiss the severity of the situation by pointing out that her father loved ketchup on spaghetti. Okaaaaaay, except that was HIS choice and preference. Not a situation where it was the only thing and it had to be eaten 3 times a day. Lori Pohli needs to go back to school, taking some sensitivity training, and maybe working in an ER or hospital setting to learn some REAL therapy skills. It is unprofessional and unethical at best."
