"I purchased over 5K worth of wood for two different projects. All three were delivered on time. During the purchase I was told I would be notified before delivery so I could be on site. Upon delivery I was asked where to place the wood and asked the driver to drop it off towards the back of my home. He refused and told me the owner of the home may be mad if the ground is destroyed in the process. (I own the home and I walked out of the home) He insisted on placing it in my front yard as he did not want to upset the owner. Finally after going back and forth I waved him on and let him place the wood in my yard. I then went back and purchase a second bundle and asked if they could have the driver move the first one out of my front yard. They told me they understood and would let me know when it would arrive and it would be moved. They did not. In fact, the driver arrived without notification and dropped the second on top of the first and left without saying a word. I went up to 84 Lumber the same day and spoke to the manager who said he will have it taken care of that Monday. He guaranteed it would be moved and no one showed to moved the wood. No call was made to me at anytime. The third bundle went to a separate location and after tearing down, it was decided the project was beyond repair and would be completed gutted. The lumber that was purchased was not needed and had not been touched. I called 84 Lumber in Danville, Indiana and spoke to them about retiring the product. I was told it would cost what I paid for the delivery fee but he would come out on Tuesday May 2, 2023 to inspect the bundle and pick it up. I never heard from them again. I would not recommend using this company."
