"My son and I went to use the pool. He's 7 and can reach in all of the areas except the lanes - we didn't go over there. He is a great swimmer. He still had to wear the red bracelet and stay close to me. It was wonderful for his mood that day, but I am certain there are days he would've wanted to be further from me. We had a friend there with 3 red bracelet kiddos. Having a big family and that much responsibility would be crazy. I don't understand the reason for lifeguards when we have to have our kids within arms distance even when they can swim. I will say there was a lifeguard there and he was wonderful. Very kind to me and my son. Only hesitation on going back is the strict pool rules and the lack of fun and rudeness my friend and her kids experienced."
"The WL wellness Center, now known as John R Dennis Wellness center, is a modern wellness facility that caters to young and old, single or married and kids or no kids. The kid camps are incredibly organized, fun and reasonably priced. I enjoy the work out class options. I do wish there was more maintenance on the machines or even more modern machines… not too long ago only 3/8 treadmill worked and it was that way for quite a few days. Other than general maintenance issues, the staff is knowledgeable and kind. The facilities are usually pretty clean. Overall, it’s a great place for fitness and fun!"
"I'm happy to share a 5-star review! This facility is fairly new, and offers so much to it's members. From swimming, water aerobics, exercise, and pickleball, you'll find it all here. Happy to recommend the West Lafayette Wellness Center any time!"
"Upbeat, wide open spaces in which to do any workout. Classes are varied and instructors are highest caliber. We love yoga now. Had not tried before. All levels are offered and defined-and the cleanliness factor is 5 star."
