"Spectacular course. I play golf twice a week and these are the best greens in Alabama! It's also very rare that pace of play is ever an issue."

"The course is gorgeous and in my opinion well-maintained. However, we were there for a high school tournament and the spectator (parent) cart rental was $50!! Pay that outrageous fee only to go to the restroom and there’s no toilet paper. You pay that much to rent a cart and can’t ensure your facilities are stocked with proper supplies?!"

"Played the second week in March. Greens? Spectacular. By far better than any public access course in the Birmingham area. Fairways? That's the problem. Very little grass and a lot of mud. Hopefully they haven't lost them but we did not see many signs of life. No greening up. If the fairways come back and they can keep the greens they have now, Limestone Springs will have returned to its glory days Here's hoping for the best."

"The course would benefit from the presence of a Marshall to start tee times. They had a large group coming in for a dog fight and our tee time was before this. Instead we got rerouted to the back 9 to start and suffered having to play behind a foursome of seniors who were walking. Etiquette wasn’t much to be found on course to say the least. Our twosome was playing so slow we did everyone a favor and repaired roughly 100 ball marks in the greens to keep people from having to putt through a minefield. Cleaned up several bunkers while we were at it as well. Seems to be the norm instead of the exception here. Course also appears to be cart path only much of the time. Understandable today with it being wet, but just no signs of them ever letting carts off the paths at any time. The greens could be amazing if they were properly maintained. Just not the case right now. The group that jumped in front of us really sealed the deal for me at the start of the round though. Won’t be returning at these prices for lack of people managing what’s going on at the tees."

"Just played Limestone Springs for the first time since August 2020. It has gone through a tremendous restoration and is now as beautiful as I’ve ever seen it. It’s always been a fantastic layout in a gorgeous natural setting. It was a real pleasure to see the course back looking this great. The greens are pristine and healthy and the fairways are firm. And now with the weather starting to cool it’s a great time to rediscover this great track."
