About the Business
The Yak Shak is a kayak pro shop located at 2649 Pelham Parkway in Pelham, Alabama. We are currently in the process of moving our storefront to Pell City, Alabama, but in the meantime, we are still accepting pre-orders. Our shop brings together outdoor enthusiasts and builds a community around supporting and conserving our natural waterways.
At The Yak Shak, you can find a variety of products including fishing kayaks, tackle, apparel, electronics, and more. Our service department specializes in custom kayak builds, offering features such as wireless lighting, trolling motors, and fish finder mounts. We also offer in-store consignment on gently used kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards.
One of our popular products is the YakAttack BlackPak Pro Kayak Fishing Crate, measuring 16" x 16". Our temporary hours are Thursday to Friday from 10am to 5pm, Saturday from 10am to 2pm, and Sunday by appointment only.
