"UPDATE as of 10.27.2023 I finally thought I'd try Athens creekside pharmacy another time. I was not disappointed they were very helpful and my boyfriend even got a flu shot. **Below is an old review** Every time I go into this pharmacy they act like I'm there to bother them. Like they've gone out of their way to look up a prescription. It would be beneficial if they had their own app because I could check my own meds without their attitudes. Ugh!"

"I started a medication that is hard to find. After finding this small business & they had the medication in stock….I went the first 3-4 months with a charge of $10 per prescription & everything was fine. In June, they told me that my “insurance didn’t want to pay” this time & I had to pay extra to make up for it. When i asked why it was different this time, they said it was because what I was getting were different than before. I usually pay $20. It was now $45! I called my insurance after being confused after seeing they were no different, & after BCBS made a call to them, they had confronted the pharmacy about sending in a submission with missing information. After BCBS saw that it had been re submitted they called creekside again. This time the pharmacist was rude with BCBS & told them they just resubmitted it & would send out a refund to me/the customer & immediately hung up on her. I Never saw ANY credit/refund from Creekside. BCBS suggested I not go back because of this & flagged them so this didn’t happen to others in the future. That extra $25 could have been someone’s gas money & most would’ve just paid & let it go. But it’s not right! For those who try to support small businesses like pharmacies, please be careful! This one didn’t have any hesitation ripping their customers off, not submitting claims to the insurance company correctly to do so, lying to the customers & insurance companies. I then decided to try Publix, & low & behold….the prescriptions were back to the $10. Unless you want to risk being ripped off, DONT stop by Creekside Pharmacy in Athens, AL. So Disappointing."
