"Worst phone service of any pharmacy. If a person even answers the phone after jumping through a dozen automated steps. Always out of standard meds that any non-CVS box store (funny when I re-read my review the name of the big box pharmacy on 72 is there after the word any, but keeps disappearing as the review posts on the pharmacy site. …. Check my review on Google and then how CVS edited it on their site. Now, that’s ethical ) or an independent pharmacy can get. Amazingly poor customer service. I’m done trying with them."

"My drug supplement will only pay on drugs purchased at CVS however, I've discovered that I can purchase my drugs at a local pharmacy about half the price of the meds, with insurance at CVS. This is unethical and should be illegal. I will definitely find a drug supplement that does not require the use of CVS. On top of that, they close for lunch. None of the small locally owned pharmacies close for lunch."

"Athens CVS Team has always went out of their way to make me feel like family. I have used Athens CVS for 8 years and Loved every minute of it. I would recommend the Athens CVS over any pharmacy on the North East Side Of Athens Al. Thank you to all of the Athens CVS Team! Look forward to seeing yall soon."

"I’m October I relocated to Athens and this CVS became my neighborhood pharmacy. I was not impressed, as the store itself is very dated and dirty, but being a CVS customer for more than 20 years I was willing to look beyond the initial experience and give the store and pharmacy a real chance. Well after six months and many interactions with this CVS pharmacy staff I have pulled all my business from CVS. This pharmacy staff is completely incompetent, they have zero focus on the customer. They are rude and have no business being in the service industry. The store staff is friendly and helpful and the manager is very apologetic for the pharmacy, unfortunately that doesn’t change the behavior of the pharmacy and it’s staff. We will take our business elsewhere"

"Both myself and my husband have used this pharmacy several times in the last year and each time, it gets worse and worse. Not to mention the employees that work there are always rude and really don't seem to know what they're doing, including the pharmacist and manager. Oh, and don't ask them their hours of operation because we were told they close at 8 on Sunday and I would have my meds filled by 645 and neither of those things were accurate. They've failed to find perscriptions that were sent by doctors because they "forgot to check the drop box or voicemail". Among other things to screw up at a pharmacy, those were the most inconvenient and irritating. I'm glad these weren't life sustaining medications although they're important antibiotics and steroids that were needed ASAP. That didn't matter to them. Save your time, sanity, and money and go somewhere else. I know we will. I hear Athens pharmacy is pretty good."
