"I often ask if the locals know 'how lucky they are' when I visit a place like Shelby. The airport is well maintained with lots of GA activity. The terminal has everything that the traveler needs on a cross country stopover and is one of the best maintained inside and out. But what makes a good airport is the people and this is a very good airport."
"Stopped here for fuel on my way from Florida to Montana. The 100LL fuel is self service and is reasonably priced. The FBO attendant was very helpful in helping me print out my IFR flight plan for my next leg of flight. The FBO is well kept."
