"I paid $40.41 for what I consider to be subpar food. The portions are just not worth the price. I paid for an additional chicken kabob and as you can tell it wasn't a full kabob. Great owner though and clean environment. Prices aren't adding up to what you receive. "**OLD REVIEW** One of the best Arabic foods I had tried in Chicago land. Babaghanoosh was amazing and delicious. **UPDATE** Apparently they have now merged with Hummus Grill. The new restaurant also offers pretty damn good food. -The kefta was decent quality -The Chicken Kabob was pretty damn good and tender. - The Hummus taste very authentic and creamy - The Taboleh Salad also tasted authentic and home-made which is good... - Very clean resturant which is always a + - Unfortunately the portion size is nowhere close to what the OG Ameer kabob used to serve. In General the meal size was a bit smaller that what you would usually get at a Mediterranean restaurant when you order a mixed grill plate - The food is not quite like what I used to get at the OG location tbh... overall the food was tasty and FRESH."
