"There's nothing to say the pictures say enough for me. Been here since April and never seen paint over mildew, crack under the door if roaches can come in snake's and rats can come inside this apartment. I shouldn't have to place a towel for that nor block the cold wind to blow in. Always paid before the rent is due and yes my husband and i have very good jobs. Paying for utility lights when we already pay for the fairhope utility bill. Water rain lines of black mildew from the ceiling, can't use the dishwasher because smelling water sinks in from the faucet. I'm just done with this. I shouldn't have to see my neighbor's green door under a crack from my front door. All the things that i said and shown are violation of this apartment complex. Paying this high rent isn't worth this."

"My family and I have lived here for a little over THREE YEARS and we have always been on time with the rent and have never caused problems, we are good tenants and we shouldn't have to live how we have been living in this place paying the amount of rent we're having to pay. We've had multiple problems with this place upon moving in. Some things were fixed in the beginning and then after the first six months we started getting lies from management and maintenance about getting things done. Old management, Kellen, was rude and disrespectful she even laughed over the phone when my husband called to tell her we had a roach infestation and roaches were getting in our food. I HAD ALMOST ATE ONE! We spent unnecessary money eating out because roaches were so bad they would fall in food while I was cooking or getting in the food in my pantry/cabinets. I've been missing a whole drawer in my kitchen for over two years and lies about getting one the entire two years. Under new management I thought it would be better but I'm getting the same lies and they had me clear my counter to repaint the counter. The wood is falling apart and all they did was sandpaper the wood and say they'll be back to repaint and that was almost a month ago. The doors they "fixed" they did not, and there is also a mouse infestation which they said they would have someone come out yesterday and they did not. Apparently if you speak up to management and they don't like what you have to say they start to care less about your problems. They also allow these dog owners to let their dogs poop wherever. They do it in front of my patio where my kids use to like to play. There are clearly bags posted around to scoop the poop. Some of these people are nasty over here! I have complained many times and nothing has been done and it's getting worse. And these people want to charge me over 1,400.00 rent. They should be giving me some of my money back and be held accountable for doing people this way. They only repainted the apartments, repaved the parking area, and planted some pretty flowers to deceive people. If I could give a negative star I would! The excuse this whole time is they're shorthand maintenance. UPDATE: Management, maintenance, and pest control came into my home Dec. 10th after my review, took pictures, I had already sent them. Wed the 13th Janice served a letter on our door, saying my deceased father was banned from the office and my family can't do anything to cause a disturbance or we will be evicted. My father hasn't been deceased long but before Kellen left she made sure to take him off of the lease before we resigned the new lease so I can't help but believe they are now being petty because of my review or it's just incompetence. My husband went to the office Friday the 7th and told Trista we're fed up with this broken down apartment and he said she was very understanding and she agreed that these living conditions are bad so she had to have exaggerated and said my husband was being aggressive because the letter was actually meant for my husband. The front office finally called my husband back this morning and told him they'll correct the name. My husband was telling Janice she dont have to because he didn't do what he is being accused of and said she got an attitude and said she is going to serve it and hung up in my husband's face for a second time. Where do they find these people. She also said anything my husband wanted to discuss he can do it with her lawyer. I am beyond fed up with this place and these people who can't handle a little power. Don't leave a negative review if you don't want management coming up with lies to evict you. THREE YEARS, never caused any problems and now this! Oh and nothing has still been fixed! I don't like how she came in my home like she wanted to help, talking about how cute my four year old is but now you're trying to threaten us with eviction close to Christmas. Update: Dec. 17th three more mice caught so that makes six mice in all."

"Great customer service, Janice and Trista are very friendly; personable and always helpful. Every time I've had a work order they have been fast and efficient. Apartments are very clean. Overall a good combination of size, price and location. A nice place to live."

"I have recently moved into Arbor Gates apartments. It's not the same administration that I applied with but it's a new team and they have been very helpful. I had some issues with the apartment that I moved into,Ms. Janice and her staff have been very quick and helpful. They were very quick at addressing my issues and making sure I am happy. As I was pulling into the property I noticed the landscaping was done and it looked bright and pretty. As I drove to the back of the property I could see how much work had been done and how great the property looks. She is very prompt in issuing emails to the property when something is not right instead of repremanding one person. When I came to see the model it felt like home and I was surprised at how big my apartment is. This is definitely home to me. I know she has plans in the future for parties, bonfires and get togethers so it will feel like a family atmosphere. Janice and her staff are quick at resolving issues. So if you're looking for a home atmosphere come to Arbor Gates."
