Nail Fever

"The last 4 times I've been in, I've been left waiting while getting my pedicure- to the point where the water gets freezing, and it's taken 45 minutes for someone to get to me- this is despite being told "no wait" . Today, i was left waiting with hot towels on my legs, for 20 minutes. Then when she came back, i told her we needed to please be quick about my nails, because i had an appointment to get to. Then, i was left waiting 35 minutes at the nail station, while the gal doing my nails started someone else's manicure, then started someones pedicure. At this point, i won't be back."

"I was argued with, they destroyed my nails, and I was told it’s their policy that they don’t fix issues. I came in with a bridal party for manicures. I told the gentleman, I wanted regular black nail polish and had already shaped my natural nails for him so all he needed to do was clean up my cuticles, buff and paint them. He smiled then continuously asked me what shape I wanted and started grinding down my natural nails with a Dremel then took out acrylics and glue. When I pulled back my hands he looked for another worker (maybe the owner or GM?) who spoke on his behalf. I told her I didn’t need acrylics that I wanted nail polish. So that’s just what the man did. He didn’t even buff my nails after he ground them down with the Dremel he just took out black polish and started painting my nails then told me to go dry them. I asked the lady why I didn’t receive a manicure and she said “you only wanted nail polish.” When I re-explained the situation and asked for them to clean up my cuticles she said I don’t have much cuticles then brushed me off. The bride asked AGAIN on my behalf for them to redo my nails so they eventually provided me with service. Except they were obviously talking about me in front of my face and she painted my nails dark blue. They could afford to take some accountability, slow down and provide service that’s worth paying for. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this place."

"This place is going down hill just like every other salon. Had my acrylics less than a week paid $80 for a simple matte black with a heart and they all started snapping off. Ivy told me to come in she would fix them at no charge then I get there and after she starts working on them tells me it will be $30 I didn't even get any design or my nails how I asked for them I walked out paying $40 after being told it would be no charge. I already drive 30 minutes to go here and I'm done and looking for a new salon. Their prices ivy just makes up on the top of her head I swear none of their prices match what's on their price list.."
