"AVOID! What a scam! My wife and I planned to stop for Indian food and to get her nails filled. We parked right in front of this business and walked around to the Indian Garden Restaurant behind it. When we returned 20 minutes later, to get her nails filled, the business had already called Chandler Automotive & Towing to have our car towed 1.5 miles up the road. It cost us $190 to get our car out of the lot. I would only guess that they are running a scam on patrons, and splitting the fees. To say the least, our priorities changed. Who in their right mind would get nails done at a business that will tow your car for not immediately going inside to give them your money. This place is a joke. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. I can’t even find them on Yelp! Even better, when I went inside to explain to them what a terrible business model they had, they told me they would call the police. As if they have an entitlement to the public’s business and money."

"My daughter's and I have been here many times over the years, and I always forget to leave a review. I want to thank the 2 gals that did my daughter's gel manicures today.... They picked out some "fall themed" designs, and they turned out beautiful. Both ladies were so kind, friendly, and patient with me and my girls. We never felt rushed at all, in fact both of them wanted to make sure it was exactly perfect and what they had in mind. It was a perfect end to their fall break, and they couldn't be more pleased. With everything so crazy and far from normal over the last several months, this was a nice treat. Thank you so much!!!"

"Absolute best place in Bloomington. I’ve been getting pink and whites for almost 10 years and when I find someone good I don’t let them go. I’ve been going to Susan for at least 7 years and she is amazing. She knows how I like my nails done and she is a true artist. I get compliments everywhere I go and people ask me who did them. I also get pedicures here and love that they use disposable supplies, it makes it feel that much cleaner. They take good care of my toes and file them just right. You get to keep your file if you’d like. They do appointments primarily, so call ahead. Haven’t had a bad experience with anyone here. A+ Not to mention the free parking!"

"Okay so I usually have only a few nail salons I attend regularly. I decided to explore a bit more and give this place a try. I began by searching nail salons in the Bloomington area and carefully reading reviews (No one wants to pay a bunch of money for low quality nails). I read most all of their reviews on Google, Facebook, and Yelp. I noticed all of their bad reviews pertained to not enough people working or chipped nails after just a few days, because I got acrylic nails I did not believe this would be a problem. I did however call at a not so busy hour and they were able to get me in right away. Once I arrived the friendly front desk lady asked if I had an appointment and acted confused when I told her I had just called a few minutes ago. This concerned me a leads me to believe they may be a bit unorganized. After that was resolved, I picked a nail color, explained what I wanted to the lady doing my manicure, and she got right to work (Keep in mind, she did not say anything about pricing at this point). I then tried to make conversation with the employee and she gave me little to know answer, although she was perfectly capable of speaking English). As she was glueing the plastic nails on I realized that some of them were glued to my SKIN, not my actual nail. I voiced my concern , wondering if it could cause infection or break earlier (the plastic was digging under my natural nails). The employee then said something along the lines of, “It’ll be okay, and if it breaks, come in and I’ll replace it for free.” I let it go and told myself the worst that could happen is I have to take them off. Towards the end she painted one coat and I realized I did not like the color I picked out and politely asked if she could paint over it in white instead. I apologized profusely. I try not to be difficult and that is my mistake. In response the employee was rude and acted irritated as if i had just asked her to redo the whole manicure. Then, while she was placing the rhinestones on my nails she messed up my pinky nail twice by bumping it with her own nail. She proceeded to tell me “Maybe if you wouldn't put your nail there it wouldn’t be a problem.” If you have ever had a manicure, you know they hold your nails and theres not much room to move your fingers without hitting the desk or the ladies hand. This is when I started to get irritated. The front desk woman then comes over and opens the door were sitting next to and asks the EMPLOYEE if it is too cold. It was 50 degrees outside! I was freezing! Soon after the staff began arguing, in front of the 5 customers in the salon, about cleanliness of the shop. At this point I am ready to leave and very irritated. Once my manicure was finished the owner rudely says, “rhinestones are 50 cents each.” I understand that it takes time and that the rhinestones cost money but first of all, 1000 rhinestones (in the same container, looked to be the same amount) on amazon is SIX DOLLARS. Secondly, it only took about five minutes to put all the rhinestones on. To charge by the amount of rhinestones is ridiculous. ESPECIALLY at that price. If you have looked at the pictures I have 42 rhinestones on my nails. That’s $38 (I didn't even get Gel nails) PLUS the $21 for just rhinestones. They also charge you 5% more if you pay with card so thats $62 for mediocre nails. Gel polish is $10 more I might add. Overall, I do not recommend this place. The only good thing about the place is the lady running the front desk and setting appointments. The nails were alright but I could go anywhere else and get them cheaper, with better service and quality."
