"One of the best reasonable Inn's in Selma Alabama , decent clean rooms and a super genuinely nice caring staff, I would recommend this Inn over the rest, safe and homely atmosphere , also snacks and soft drinks available at the front desk! Mr. & Mrs. Patel are super awesome host,. I give the American Inn of Selma 10 out of 10 , thanks for having me at you're facility!"
"DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Had to give one star to post, this place deserves negative stars!!! BEWARE — Multiple health violations!!! We stayed here and we all are suffering from horrific bed bug bites and other insect bites — the most disastrous and disgusting “Bates Style” motel I’ve ever experienced! It smelled so horribly, I had to breath the couple hours I slept with my blanket covering my mouth! I’m all for historical, but this place needs a complete overhaul or tear down! Seems like the whole family and staff live on site, not quite sure what’s going on with that! Avoid this place, I would’ve rather slept in the car than suffer the excruciating pain and itch from the bed bug and insect bites — what a HORRIBLE PLACE!!!"
"The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude. She asked my name and cell phone number as if she didn't believe I was a customer. She then proceeded to yell the room is 80 dollars if I want it to just come and hung up in my face. We will definitely never be staying here."
"Clean but could do better with the pillows. Comfortable bed, pillows small and too soft"
"This was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. It’s a great place to stay last minute on the 4th of July. Also they allow pets. Will stay again if I’m ever in Selma."
