"This is our go-to place for a stay-cation. There are several options in Gardendale/Fultondale, but for the price and the service and the overall experience - this is by far the best choice. The breakfast is great, the rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly."

"Should have read reviews instead of just looking at star count. Booked King Jacuzzi Suite for one-night getaway with husband on the night of his company Christmas party in Birmingham. Upon arrival, the room smelled so badly of a combination of weed and overpowering air freshener, we could only gag. It felt like Snoop Dog just had a party and they tried to hide the evidence. We asked for another jacuzzi suite and were told none were available, but they were happy to move us to a 2-double bed room and they’d adjust the bill by morning. New guy at the front desk was friendly enough but big language barrier and he had to call someone on the phone for help. He kept printing out pieces of paper while we waited and waited (becoming increasingly late for party) and then finally he walked us up to our new room to be sure it didn’t smell. It didn’t smell, but it was tiny and very dimly lit and the beds were very small and there were red stains all over the carpet. If you need to put makeup on in your hotel room, do not use this hotel-you cannot see anything in the room. When we went to checkout, the gentleman at the front desk knew nothing about our rate needing to be adjusted so we had to tell our whole story and I assure you the rate adjustment was not nearly adequate for our spoiled getaway. We could have planned to get ready from home and driven back home after the party and saved the money and it would have been far more romantic. Do NOT book this hotel. Look elsewhere."

"Front desk attendant was extremely nice. Quick check in. Room was large and very clean, but the lightswitch was broken to turn on overhead light. Floors seemed thin, I could hear every step the people above me took. Nice area though. Very close to everything, but a little difficult to find. Good for the money."

"Our air conditioner did not function properly. TV had some issues. I had to clean the coils of the ac to get a little cold air. Told the front desk upon check out. No discount. Just a thank you."

"Rooms were really clean minus the apparent water spots on the ceiling in the bathroom. All of the room service attendants were really nice. Location is pretty good as they are the only building on the hill and within 2 miles from alot of major restaurants and hole in the wall restaurants. Nice for a weekend stay!"
