"I spend over a hundred nights a year in motels. Mostly Choice as a Diamond member. I expect decent service. This property has now failed twice. Room was soso. Water shut off while shaving and showering in the morning. We were going to be staying in the Birmingham area for 3 days so wasn't in a hurry to get checked out as we always have late check out... At 11:08 someone opened my door and started to come in as I was getting dressed without knocking. 15 minutes later while checking out I complained to the lady at the desk and she was hateful and rude. Told me Diamond members don't get late checkout at this motel and at 11 Am she can walk in rooms any time she wants without knocking. I told her I had had a problem with this property before and do I need to talk to her area manager. She smirked and told me to "Go for it" I left and checked into a different Quality inn 25 miles away. I did file a complaint with Choice but no one bothered to call me back. I am pretty disappointed.. To add to my issues I am semi disabled 66 years old but 6'7" and 300 lbs. People aren't usually nasty to me. We do have 2 5lb service dogs. (Chihuahuas) The motel wanted to see their registration papers at check in as well. We did supply them even though it isn't legal to require us to do so...I doubt I will be staying at this property again..."
"This room was filthy! Food was on the floor which had not been mopped in awhile and live cockroaches in room. A used bar of soap was along the top of the shower surround. Also, a large cockroach was in the lobby the next morning. Staff made excuses for the poor conditions of this stay! Never again will I stay at a Quality Inn!!! Anywhere!!!"
"The room was clean, no carpet which I was happy about. The bed and pillows were beyond comfortable. The sheets were like butter! Convenient location and any kind of food you wanted was very close by. The tv had just about any channel you could want. My only complaint is the water pressure in the shower absolutely sucks!"
