"Hot Fresh Food!!! This place tucked away in the countryside of Edgar County is so unique. The atmosphere is a take back to the older days when life was simple. The food was fresh and amazing!!! The cook sure knows what he is doing. The owners have done a great job at providing quality in everything that was provided. I chose the mushroom and swiss burger (my favorite burger ever) and this place was a top notch smash burger. They is a wide selection of various old fashioned soda as well as a unique root beer float made from root beer slushy. Can't wait for winter to be over so we can go back. My daughter is a huge fan of seeing the cows and horse as well."

"Good food, kid friendly, beautiful day! We enjoyed burgers at the picnic tables, playing checkers, and eating ice cream on the front porch rocking chairs. We can't wait to come back!"

"Beautiful motorcycle ride to this outpost... It is a small, slighlty silly, wild West town area with a giftshop and food counter that serves burgers, horseshoes, and cold beers! There are cows in the pasture outfront and some amusing stuff outback- picnic tables to eat your burger at. No frills as there is an outhouse, but old skool fun folks is the best kind sometimes!!"

"Great place to bring the family. It is only open on Saturdays until the second weekend in September. It will then be open on Sundays too. There is plenty of seating at the outdoor pinic tables. We brought our dog and she loved the burgers too."

"We tried the outlaw salon today after reading about it. The menu was limited to about 4 burgers and a sloppy joe. I got the single outlaw cheeseburger for $7.50 and added lettuce and tomato for another $1.50. My friend got the same except a double which cost him $9.75 and $1.50 for loaded. We added chips a bag and shared a water as these were extra. The burgers were disappointing in size. I doubt that they were more than a 1/4 lb and very thin. The meat was good and the bun was toasted. Only had outdoor seating and it was very hot with little shade. We topped it off with root beer floats and they were ok but again pricey at $6.75 a piece. They put chocolate sauce in the floats. I don’t think we will go back. We were just disappointed in the value of the meal."
