"Paper thin walls, the ceiling fan makes an annoying sound and couldn't be used. The toilet leaks and rubs all the time. The HVAC unit cycles on every 3 minutes and sounds like an engine revving so loud you wake up, impossible to get any real sleep."

"There were bugs in my room. I only saw a few ants in the bathtub and something else where you hang up your clothes (not a roach). Nothing bothered me while I slept though. Stuff might have gotten in through the door that was warped. That being said, I would probably go back just because of their breakfast options. When I was there they had waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, toaste, pastries, etc."

"Greatful they were pet friendly. Very quiet but within walking distance of restaurants. Bed very comfortable. Our room had tall ceiling with a very quiet ceiling fan (I like a fan). Hot Breakfast bar was great. Heating/ac system was very quiet. Did have some maintenance issues that needed attention (shower rod, toilet paper holder). Had no carpet, yeah, but some areas of floor needed a little more attention with cleaning. Furniture was old but functional. Very friendly service. We will use it again if the need comes up."

"We are on a cross country trip from Colorado to Florida. Looking for a clean, safe stop for the night. This met all our needs. Clean room, comfortable beds and pillows. Good coffee and breakfast. There was a old marijuana smoke smell but not too bad. The only real annoying problem was Loyd neighbors late into the night coming and going. We used our choice Rewards for a free night so it all worked out!"

"I stayed here once years ago and it was nice then and I don’t recall the price we paid. The check-in was quick and she did let us check-in a hour early -that was a bonus- from 2pm checkin. The floor had some adhesive from something previously there. That meant all hair, paper, dirt was in that one area and no one bothered to get it up. The comforter had stains that could have been from an oily object or similar. It is a much older hotel but things like comforters and burned tissue box holders can be replaced. I hope the needle was for medical use because this was the final straw."
